Childcare

At UCC, we love children.

We know that parents are concerned about the safety and the spiritual nurture of their children, and we share these same concerns. On Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights, we offer a staffed nursery for our youngest visitors and age or grade-level classes for our older boys and girls.

During Sunday morning worship some of our children participate in a time we call “Children’s Church,” when our younger elementary children exit our worship assembly for their own age-appropriate time of worship. One Sunday a month we have “Children’s Time with Brent,” when our kids go to the front for some fun learning time with Preacher Brent.

All childcare, teaching and supervision of children at UCC is carried out under the capable leadership of Jennifer Welch, our full-time children’s minister. Jennifer is a veteran, who knows and loves children and their families. All childcare at UCC is by adults or older teens, and everyone is closely screened and trained. You can be confident that your child’s safety and faith are in good hands here.
