At UCC, we believe one responsibility of a large church is to offer small group opportunities. On Sunday evenings, many individuals and families meet with one of several groups that gather in homes. These groups build community and provide support and friendship in ways larger classes or worship times cannot. Some groups focus on Bible study; others focus more on relationships.

Every UCC member is invited and encouraged to participate in one of our small groups.

Wednesday nights can be hectic, as families juggle getting dinner on the table, or from the drive-thru, activities and errands after work or school and then out the door for Bible class. To make life a little easier, each week during the school year, a group of UCC members and college students serve a simple meal in the MAC. It’s nothing fancy, sometimes homemade and other times provided by a local restaurant, but always with salad and homemade desserts. We do encourage a small donation if you are able, but don’t let that stop you from joining. Just relax and let someone else handle supper. You’ll always be finished in time to get to yourself and your kids to class on time.

Ladies Bible Class

The UCC Ladies Bible Class meets on Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. in the Family Room. We generally follow the ACU Fall and Spring semester calendar.

Our speakers usually teach a four-week series. The format is unstructured allowing the teachers to choose their own topics. The classes vary from topical studies to detailed scriptural lessons. The ladies give positive feedback and enjoy different speakers and perspectives.

We invite you to join us on Wednesday mornings for a time of study and fellowship. You will be encouraged by faithful women who are full of God’s love and wisdom for life’s journey.
